Tommy talks to us about the Impact of AI on entrepreneurs.
Tommy White is a Senior Professorial Lecturer (aka Executive-in-Residence) at the Kogod School of Business at the American University.
He teaches undergraduate courses on introduction to business and business professionalism, and undergraduate/graduate courses on introduction to entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship practicum launch & AI Infusion, financing, venture capital & new venture startup launch. AI is infused throughout all course work.
Professor White serves as the Director of the Veloric Center for Entrepreneurship (VCE) where he oversees key strategic and operational activities of the Center. The Veloric Center for Entrepreneurship, established in 2014, aims to build a cross-campus Community of Entrepreneurship & Innovation by cultivating the entrepreneurial mindset and fostering a culture of creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, risk-taking, and resilience among students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The VCE also supports the business incubator program, which works with student ventures on commercializing ideas.
He also serves as the Director of the annual AU/Kogod/VCE Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) program. He also oversees the newly launched student-managed Eagle Venture Seed Fund.
