In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Beau Dromiack.

Beau talks to us about Craft as a core value to maximize influence .

Beau Dromiack is a Master of Architecture and graduate faculty member at Arizona State University, where he teaches integrated design and a signature course he created called “Success Empathy,” focused on craft, collaboration, and the soft skills architects need to thrive.

He’s an architect, educator, and mentor who’s passionate about elevating craft, sustainability, and innovation in the built environment. Beau also volunteers with design-build teams and STEM programs, helping students—from university to elementary school—understand architecture and engineering through hands-on learning.

He’s the author of The Craft Advantage and Super-Architect, with a third book on the way about zero-waste living and sustainable housing systems. As principal of a mission-critical architecture firm, he specializes in highly integrated, high-craft design delivery.

Outside of work, Beau is a long-time family man, animal lover, inventor, avid backpacker, and devoted cookie baker—with a home full of pets, chickens, and even an indoor/outdoor pig named Kirby.
