Jim, a key member of the Volition team since 2014. Jim evaluates and executes new investment opportunities on the Internet and Consumer team and supports the growth of companies already in the Volition portfolio. His work focuses on consolidation platforms, the movement of physical goods, ad tech, marketplaces, and a wide range of internet driven transactional businesses.
Jim brings a partnership-first mindset to investing. He spends much of his time meeting founders in person, learning their challenges, and helping them find tailored solutions so they can achieve their goals. For him, investing is never just a transaction. It is a long term collaboration built on trust, alignment, and shared ambition.
Outside of work, Jim is just as passionate. He loves fishing for striped bass off Block Island and swears nothing tastes better than what you catch yourself. In the summer, you will usually find him on the beach, and year round he is a loyal Boston sports fan with a dream of visiting every MLB stadium. He also loves travel and exploring local food, with Malta holding the top spot on his favorites list.
